Halloween Costume

Hey, it's been a while! I'm in high school now! Fun stuff.
So, guess what I'm being for Halloween? A NEWSIE! For those of you who don't know what a Newsie is, well it's a movie set in the late 1800s and is about these run away/orphans boys who sell newspapers or "paps". You know the guys that go "Extra Extra!" Well they are lead by Jack Kelly(Christian Bale "Batman"). They have to go on strike because the people who make the newspapers raise the prices the Newsies have to pay to get the papers they sell! So Jack gets thrown into jail and there's all this drama, but it ends well. Actually it ends great! I have to warn you, it is a musical, but id you're like me and like musicals you should rush out and rent/buy it! Plus the songs are bitchin'! Not to mention there are some really really really hot guys in it and its like an all guy cast! It's like an awesome "before they were famous" movie! So how am I going to dress you may ask? Well I get to wear suspenders, a vest, old shirt pants and shoes, a cap, and depending on what character I choose to be say Jack for instance, a red banddanna and a cowboy hat. I soooooooo excited!!!! God, I'm such a nerd, but I love it!

I Love Shakespeare

I recently saw a movie called "Shakespeare In Love" and it's about William Shakespeare and his life around the time he was writing "Romeo and Juliet". It's a comedy, love story, drama, and action all in one. But it is partly fiction, I guess. You may not know, but I am an aspirering actress, so these kinds of movies reaaly get to me. I mean just the skript alone was magnificent. The wording of it, (sigh) I was speachless and breathless while watching some of the scenes. I can always tell I'm watching a great movie, because my cheaks get flushed and when it's over I'll just sit there, still enraptures and entranced with the story. Also, I'll go on and on about it like I am now. So I apologize if I am boring you. Anyway, here's my quote...

I have Immortal longings in me.
~ William Shakespeare

So do I.

Not Your same old boy meets girl story (despite what the first line says)

Violence In Cartoons

Someone once asked me if there was too much viloence in the media. I said yes and I stated my reason and here it is...
"Well yeah! I mean, come on! Even in kid shows, there's animal cruelty! I mean look at Bambi, they slaughter his mother!"
But of course I had to answer that way, because it was my religion teacher who asked the question. So this story brings me to my quote...

I don't have to be careful, I've got a gun!
